John and Mary Seaver "Bridge" Scholarship

Established by Barry W. Seaver, PhD, and funded by the John and Mary Seaver Education Foundation. This scholarship honors the family’s commitment to humanities education.

Criteria: The “Bridge” Scholarship will pay the tuition and fees for an eligible North Carolina student, classified as an out-of-state resident, to complete their final year to obtain an associate degree in the humanities at Durham Technical Community College. The scholarship will provide the recipient with $6,600 to complete 24 credit hours. In the essay section of your application please describe why you would like to continue your studies for the bachelor degree in the humanities after graduating from DTCC.
