Dr. Phail Wynn, Jr. Truist Scholarship

Established by Dr. Phail Wynn, Jr. along with colleagues, friends, businesses, and community contacts upon his leaving Durham Tech, to assist in defraying educational costs for minority male residents of Durham or Orange counties who graduate from high school and wish to continue their education at Durham Tech.
Criteria: Male resident of Durham or Orange county; Eligible for in-state tuition; Graduate of Durham or Orange county public school, or Durham Tech’s AHS/GED program; Enrolled in a technical, vocational or university transfer program; 2.5+ cumulative GPA; Active member of VISIONS – Minority Male Leadership Initiative.
