Opening Your Eyes: The Vision Council Scholarship Fund

Established by The Vision Council to assist in defraying educational costs for an eligible Durham Tech student enrolled in the Opticianry Associate in Applied Science program.
Criteria: Enrolled in the Opticianry Associate in Applied Science program; Completion of 6+ credit hours in the program; Currently enrolled in 6+ credit hours in the program; Student should be comfortable with The Vision Council promoting the recipient for visibility purposes. The recipient will be asked to be a part of an announcement to members of The Vision Council, which will include their photo.

Preference will be given to high school seniors showing interest in the eyecare and optical industry from one of the following groups: African American/Black, Hispanic American, Asian American, Native American
