General Consulate of Mexico Scholarship

IME-Becas Scholarship Program of the Consulate General of Mexico in Raleigh presented Durham Tech with funds to be used for scholarships awarded to Mexican students or students of Mexican descent attending Durham Tech.

Criteria: Have completed a minimum of 3 credit hours at Durham Tech in any curriculum program of study leading to an associate’s degree, certificate or diploma at the time of application; be Mexican or of Mexican descent; have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or if no GPA, passing grades in developmental course work); have demonstrated a strong commitment to self-improvement and involvement with peers and/or the community; live in the Durham Tech service area (Durham and Orange counties) and/or have graduated from a High School or GED program in the Durham Tech service area.
